After finishing Oblivion and Dead Space, I wasn't quite sure what to play next. After a bit of deliberation, I've decided on these three: Mass Effect, Valkyria Chronicles, and Star Ocean: First Departure. It's not necessarily easy playing multiple RPGs at the same time, but these are a good mix of different kinds of games and settings, and they each accommodate different real-life scenarios:

When I can play with my wife ( @cogitwho ), we'll play Mass Effect together.

When she's busy with something else, I can play Valkyria Chronicles.

On the go, or before bed, I can play Star Ocean on my PSP.

My goal for the rest of June is to fill the rest of my calendar, and keep knocking out games on my to-play list.

imho i'd play star ocean prolly because the story seemed far more interesting to me then valkyria & mass effect, although mass effect had the better rating outa the other 2
Well, I'm definitely going to be playing all three this month. I've only just started Valkyria Chronicles and Mass Effect, but they're both pretty excellent so far. I'm fairly far along with Star Ocean: First Departure--it's fun, with a pretty good story, but it definitely has that early JRPG feel to it, where the story takes a second seat to the game mechanics. Mass Effect, on the other hand, is all about the story.
